Job Summary: 

We are seeking a motivated junior scientist to join Ten63’s growing Biology team. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary lab-based team working side-by-side to tackle some of the hardest yet most impactful targets in oncology. 

 

A strong positive attitude, great communication skills, excellent attention to detail and record keeping, and an ability to follow established lab protocols are essential. Demonstrable understanding and experience in basic lab skills as buffer and media preparation, bacterial culture, plasmid purifications, PCR, gel electrophoresis, and mammalian cell culture would be ideal. Experience in additional biophysical or biochemical assays including Western blotting, ELISA, and simple enzyme assays would be a bonus. 

 

In this position, you will support and collaborate in a hands-on way with the Senior Scientists in the lab to advance Ten63’s goal of discovering and developing novel small molecule therapeutics to change the treatment of cancer. As you gain experience, you may take on roles of increasing independence and responsibility. 

 

Position Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, or related area, with 0+ years’ work experience. 

Position is full time and in-person in Durham, NC.
