We are looking for a motivated, professional Cloud Engineer to build, deploy, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and applications in the military, tactical, and security industries. This person will leverage their security and military experiences to bring Teamworks’ products into DOD IL-2/IL-5 environments.

This role is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to pioneer the next frontier in athlete support and to contribute to the continued rapid scaling of one of the fastest-growing companies in sports tech, as it continues to grow into the military space.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, deploy, and test within AWS.

  • Provide support across multi-region deployments and design zero-downtime failover mechanisms.

  • Evangelize and mature best practices and standards for infrastructure-as-code across multiple product lines.

  • Use data to increase service resiliency and design to minimize downtime or loss of data.

  • Solve complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires the application of scientific methods and an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.

  • Provide guidance and future roadmaps with respect to integration with third-party tools and new AWS services, and emerging cloud frameworks.

  • Work with the Information Security and Compliance team to ensure deployed resources conform to DoD security specifications.

  • Analyze applications for compliance with CC SRG and NIST 800-53 compliance, and implement risk mitigation.

Requirements:

  • DoD Secret clearance is required prior to start (Interim Secret clearance is acceptable).

  • Full-stack development experience for high-traffic SaaS applications in multiple languages and frameworks.

  • Expert knowledge of Linux operating systems and administration.

  • Cloud-based infrastructure expertise with a heavy emphasis on AWS GovCloud.

  • Experience operating and developing for Cloud Native with Kubernetes, including security, compliance, and automation.

  • Experience working with DevOps tools in a cloud environment, such as Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker.

  • GIT, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Gitlab, ArgoCD.

  • Experience transitioning complex applications from data centers to the AWS cloud for development, test, and production environments.

  • Active Secret Clearance.

  • Security+ certification

  • AWS Associate or Professional certification.

  • Active or previous CAC card.
