Teamworks, the Operating System for Sports™, powers more than 6,500 sports organizations worldwide, including collegiate athletic departments and teams across all major professional leagues. With 300 exceptional employees located in ten different countries, Teamworks’ software solutions drive the operations of the most recognizable sports properties in the world.

We are looking for an experienced, proactive Product Designer to help craft the vision for our web and mobile offerings, improve existing features, and advocate for usability and aesthetic enhancements.

This role is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to pioneer the next frontier in sports technology and contribute to one of the fastest-growing companies in sports tech.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to conceptualize, design, and execute high-quality product features.

  • Have a solid process in place to understand the problem, goals and impact of a design request.

  • Spearhead research autonomously if existing research does not exist or is insufficient.

  • Design thoughtful interfaces that balance usability, technical feasibility, and aesthetics.

  • Articulate design decisions effectively to collect feedback, build stakeholder buy-in, and ensure accurate implementation.

  • Regularly seek opportunities or problems to solve that have a high impact on user experience and can be measured by positive business outcomes.

  • Advocate for good design practices and regularly take the initiative to improve processes within the product, engineering, and design teams.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of product design experience at a product company or agency.

  • Expert in Figma.

  • Experience working with and contributing to design systems.

  • Strong background in producing high-quality visual designs.

  • Experience in producing sketches, wireframes, and low to high-fidelity mockups as needed.

  • Experience creating UI prototypes and practicing thoughtful user research.

  • A portfolio that demonstrates UX and visual design skills and showcases your approach to solving complex problems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Conversant in basic development principles and experience writing HTML, CSS, and JS.

  • Experience influencing product stakeholders on product strategy and engineering stakeholders on technical constraints.

  • Experience creating Figma prototypes to articulate flows.

  • Leverages quantitative and qualitative data to inform design decisions.
