The Senior Manager of Operations will play a critical role in shaping the future of our organization. This position drives operational excellence across the business, ensuring alignment across business operations, revenue operations, contracts, analytics, and reporting. This role will oversee day to day operations with a focus on data, technology, and process and you will oversee all aspects of the business. You will assess the technology and processes currently in place across the company with an eye towards efficiency, risk mitigation and profitability. The ideal candidate is a motivated professional with exceptional leadership, time management skills and strong, clear communication.
You will work directly for the CEO & President, and ideally you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and be hands-on in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment
In This Role, You Will Be Responsible For:
- Driving Operational Excellence
- Support Pryon Planning Cycle; Corporate Through Departments
- Calendar Driven, Review Driven and Reviewed
- Define and enforce operational standards, methodologies, and best practices across the organization.
- Ensure that major initiatives are executed with quality, on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Identify potential risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly assess its performance against these metrics.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on project status, resource utilization, and other relevant metrics.
- Design and implement reporting frameworks for tracking KPIs across the organization.
- Provide actionable insights to leadership based on comprehensive analysis of operational and financial data.
- Process Improvement and Innovation:
- Continuously evaluate and enhance business processes and tools to drive efficiency and scalability.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, operations methodologies, and AI technologies, integrating best practices into the operational structure.
- Oversight of Revenue Operations (RevOps):
- Manage the Head of RevOps to optimize the revenue generation processes by aligning sales, marketing, and customer success initiatives.
- Develop and implement operational frameworks that enhance revenue growth and improve profitability.
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Oversight of Sales Operations:
- Manage the Salesforce.com Administrator to maintain our Salesforce.com instance
- Handle account setup and other regular tasks
- Work with sales leaders to refine sales processes
- Oversight of Contracts and Legal
- Manage the Contracts & Legal Manager to manage all customer and vendor procurement opportunities
- Optimize our contracting process with customers and vendors
- Maintain CLM of all contracts
- Corporate Planning:
- Support the annual corporate planning process, including V2M2OM planning and organizational alignment.
- Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to ensure strategic priorities are met.
- Monitor performance against strategic goals and adjust plans as needed.
What You'll Need to Be Successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or other industry-related field required – MBA preferred
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in corporate operations roles in high-growth SaaS environments
- Ability and willingness to be onsite at our Westport, CT office 2 days per week, minimum
- Experience in leading Operations through Seed-A-B-C stages and beyond, with a track record of success in scaling businesses or divisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience leading RevOps, SalesOps, and Legal functions
- Strong reliance on data; all decisions are supported by facts and numbers
- Process-centric – proven track record of building Operations processes as well as the discipline required to adhere to them
- Proven ability to consistently hold direct reports, peer leads, and senior leadership accountable
