Position Summary:
As a Lead Maintenance Technician, you will perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process. You will be responsible for preventive maintenance, mechanical checks, construction, installation, moving, repairing and maintenance of all electronic, electrical and mechanical equipment and/or systems within the facility and/or assigned Value Stream(s). Perform industrial machine repair/service using knowledge of any or all of the following: electrical, electronics, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, spindles, ball screws, bearings, servo controls, and/or machine controllers.
Essential Functions:
- Serves as advanced technical contact to execute preventive maintenance procedures on equipment in production areas, Engineering lab, machine shop and facilities equipment
- Identifies deficiencies and improvement opportunities; revises and releases updated/new preventative maintenance documents
- Arranges and supports installation of specialized equipment; creates/updates preventive maintenance procedures with outside suppliers or in-house personnel as required
- Coordinates the equipment and building facility maintenance activities at the plant, and capital projects with support of engineering to maximize equipment reliability, efficiency and cost
- Evaluates and leads refinement of overall equipment reliability plans, strategies, equipment performance and root cause analysis
- Identifies, establishes and manages preventative maintenance contracts with outside suppliers through purchasing department
- Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies
- Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
- Represents the company in a professional manner and upholds the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties

Qualifications:
- Ability to use maintenance equipment (including but not limited to: saws, grinders, CNC mills, and lathes, hand / power tools, etc) to perform machining duties as needed
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and determine root cause of failures
- Advanced knowledge using predicative and preventative maintenance processes
- Typically requires a minimum of 4 - 6 years of related experience
- Requires High School diploma or equivalent
- Requires general working knowledge of industrial electronics and controls including but not limited to: relay logic and controls, automation interlocking, machine control circuits, sensors, switches, timers, wiring and ladder diagrams, sequencers, variable speed motor drives, servo controls, etc.
- Ability operate and obtain a forklift driver's license
