Position Summary:
Our rapidly growing medical imaging, navigations and robotics division is searching for a field service technical writer. The candidate will create clear, accurate, and compliant technical documentation for medical imaging products and systems. This role bridges engineering, clinical, regulatory, and quality teams to translate complex imaging concepts into user-friendly documentation that supports product development, regulatory submissions, and end-user adoption. While ensuring compliance with all company policies & procedures and maintaining compliance with US FDA and international medical device regulations and ISO 13485 quality system requirements. The job requires the individual to be a self-starter and team player with the ability to work well without close supervision, can independently manage time/schedule and function well in a challenging and fast paced environment. Must be enthusiastic, positive, even tempered and have strong skills in areas of dependability, interpersonal relationships, flexibility and maturity.
Essential Functions:
Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards with system Field Service Team, Product Trainer and Engineering staff to create SOPs and procedures across all products.
Test and Verify all FS procedures from Engineering
Create and Maintain System Functionality, Installation, Preventative Maintenance and Accuracy Checklist.
Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
Create and maintain the information architecture, research technical writing tools to standardize templets for ease creation and maintenance.
Ensure documentation complies with applicable standards, including ISO 13485, IEC 62304, and company quality systems.
Represent FS in the DCO process, maintain document version control, change histories, and review workflows using document management systems.
Maintain FS Calibrated equipment and tool inventory
Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies
Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
Represents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties

Qualifications:
Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to learn complex technical systems quickly
Collaborative mindset with a user-focused approach
Comfort working in highly regulated environment
Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in medical devices, healthcare, or regulated industries.
Strong understanding of medical imaging workflows, terminology, or clinical environments.
Experience writing documentation for regulated products (FDA, CE, ISO).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
