Job Summary

This role is responsible for all tasks related to inventory management within Globus Medical’s distribution facilities. In addition, this role assists with the facilitation of inventory management in field with the commercial team

Primary Responsibilities

  • In partnership with finance, manages the daily cycle count program within each distribution site within ANZ
  • Oversees all inbound inventory shipments from the US and ensures accurate and timely processing from dock to shelf.
  • Responsible for all incoming sets from the US and esnures completeness and availability in a timely manner. This role is responsible to liaise with the US on any issues that may be encountered when new sets arrive.
  • Responsible for all stock returns to the US. Works closely with the Global Inventory team on requirements and then takes the requirements and executes the return
  • Manages the EEF program locally. Coordinates the program between Commercial Team and International CS in the US. Organises shipping of faulty products back to the US
  • Has oversight of local servicing program and service cell activity in Sydney. Ensures all locally serviced tech (NVM5, Bendini) is serviced in a timely manner and is compliant.
  • Operations point of contact for the commercial team on consignment into the field. Works closely with the Global Inventory Team and Product Marketing on understanding the requirements then executing the demand
  • Coordinates the return of consigned items. Responsible to ensure returned consignment is inspected and returned to shelf in a timely manner.
  • Coordinates the field inventory stock count process. Provides the commercial team with data on what is to be counted. Reconciles the count and updates the system.
  • Prepares monthly reporting on inventory counts, adjustment values etc for local management
  • Other inventory or project related tasks as required.

Required Skills / Capabilities

  • Savvy with ERP systems. Quick to learn new systems
  • Understands the drivers of good inventory management
  • Ability to foresee potential inventory issues and to communicate those to management
  • Highly organised
  • Manages competing priorities
  • Ability to supervise and direct their direct reports
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills

Education and Experience

  • Experience managing inventory
  • Experience with Spine inventory and instruments
