Position Summary:
Globus Medical is seeking an HR Manager to support assigned business groups with a wide range of HR needs. This role will provide guidance on employee relations, talent development, compliance, compensation, hiring, health & safety, and diversity initiatives. The HRBP will collaborate closely with business leaders and the HR team to develop proactive solutions, advise on policies and programs, and ensure alignment with the company’s strategic direction.
Essential Functions:
- Develops partnerships across the HR function to deliver value added service to management and employees consistent with business objectives
- Maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business units financial position, its mid-range plans, its culture and its competition
- Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, succession planning
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
- Aligns with business leaders and internal talent acquisition team to design recruiting needs and strategies, including monitoring and measuring effectiveness of recruiting methods; recommends changes as needed
- Provides HR Policy guidance and interpretation
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues, including conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, federal and state respective employment laws
- Demonstrates leadership qualities and ability to build effective business relationships
- Ability to solve and interpret complex problems, collect and analyze complicated data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Strong understanding in Human Resource Management, leadership, change management, and communications

Qualifications:
- Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years’ experience; or equivalent experience
- Requires 3+ years of broad-based human resources experience
- Preferred PHR or SHRM-CP Certification
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws
- Strong client management and business literacy skills
- Ability to develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results
- Excellent conflict management skills and capability
