Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior BI Report Engineer to join our Emerging Tech Data Team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in data modeling, business reporting, and deep technical experience across Oracle databases, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) platform and industry-standard BI tools such as Power BI and Looker. Familiarity with core business processes such as Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay is required to deliver accurate, insightful, and business-aligned reporting solutions.

Essential Functions:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Looker.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.

• Build and optimize data models in Oracle and BigQuery to support high-performance, scalable reporting.

• Work with Google Cloud Platform technologies and Data ETL pipelines to integrate, transform, and prepare data for analysis.

• Integrate data with reporting tools such as Looker or Power BI to meet business intelligence requirements.

• Deliver data-driven insights that support operational and strategic decision-making, especially within OTC and P2P domains.

• Lead reporting initiatives and mentor junior BI developers or analysts.

• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability of data across all reporting layers.

• Maintain documentation, promote best practices in dashboard design, and contribute to BI governance

• Stay informed about ML developments and explore ways to integrate ML into BI Reporting in the future.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related roles.

• Strong experience with Oracle databases and SQL-based reporting solutions.

• Expertise in developing data models for reporting and analytics.

• Advanced knowledge of Power BI and Looker, including LookML, and data visualization best practices.

• Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools, especially BigQuery and Looker

• Practical knowledge of Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay processes and reporting needs.

• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
