Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior BI Report Engineer to join our Emerging Tech Data Team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in data modeling, business reporting, and deep technical experience across Oracle databases, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) platform and industry-standard BI tools such as Power BI and Looker. Familiarity with core business processes such as Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay is required to deliver accurate, insightful, and business-aligned reporting solutions.
Essential Functions:
Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Looker.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
Build and optimize data models in Oracle and BigQuery to support high-performance, scalable reporting.
Work with Google Cloud Platform technologies and Data ETL pipelines to integrate, transform, and prepare data for analysis.
Integrate data with reporting tools such as Looker or Power BI to meet business intelligence requirements.
Deliver data-driven insights that support operational and strategic decision-making, especially within OTC and P2P domains.
Lead reporting initiatives and mentor junior BI developers or analysts.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability of data across all reporting layers.
Maintain documentation, promote best practices in dashboard design, and contribute to BI governance
Stay informed about ML developments and explore ways to integrate ML into BI Reporting in the future.

Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related roles.
Strong experience with Oracle databases and SQL-based reporting solutions.
Expertise in developing data models for reporting and analytics.
Advanced knowledge of Power BI and Looker, including LookML, and data visualization best practices.
Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools, especially BigQuery and Looker
Practical knowledge of Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay processes and reporting needs.
Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
