Position Summary:
As an Associate MES Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the implementation, validation, and support of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), particularly the OpCenter (Camstar) system. You will work closely with engineering staff to understand the manufacturing processes and configure MES solutions to optimize efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards.
Essential Functions:
- Lead the implementation and configuration of OpCenter (Camstar) Manufacturing Execution Systems
- Collaborate with Engineering to understand the manufacturing processes and translate requirements into MES solutions that streamline operations and ensure compliance
- Develop and execute validation protocols for MES implementations, including Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ)
- Configure workflows, electronic lot and/or batch records, and other MES functionalities to meet specifications and enhance process efficiency
- Provide technical expertise and support during MES system upgrades, expansions, and troubleshooting activities
- Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of MES implementation and validation activities with project timelines and objectives
- Stay current with industry trends, regulatory guidelines, and advancements in MES technology to continuously improve implementation and validation processes
- Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies
- Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
- Represents the company in a professional manner and upholds the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties

Qualifications:
- Solid communication and presentation skills
- Experience with configuring MES functionalities such as electronic lot and/or batch records, workflows, data interfaces, product releases, sampling plans, and electronic procedures
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimize manufacturing processes through MES solutions
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with team members at all levels of the organization
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to producing high-quality MES configurations and validation documentation
- Experience with MS Excel, SAP, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
