Job Summary And Primary Responsibilities

This role will support SEC Reporting, calculating stock-based compensation and earnings per share, technical accounting (inclusive of keeping up to date with the latest guidance), and research, other ad-hoc accounting projects. Assist in preparation of and filing of SEC Forms including Registration Statements, Forms 10-Q and 10-K, including XBRL information and the Conflict Minerals Report.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Preparation of and filing of SEC Forms 10-Q and 10-K, including tie-out of all financial statements and footnotes. Support in preparation and filings of other filings, Forms 8-K and the annual proxy.
  • Preparation of the financial statements/ financial reporting packages, including the Statement of Equity and the Statement of Cash Flows.
  • Support with the preparation of non-GAAP financial information and documents to supplement the quarterly earnings releases.
  • Calculation of stock-based compensation expense, including the valuation of non-employee stock awards and modifications. Calculate the quarterly weighted average shares outstanding used in the earnings per share calculation. Perform research when needed. Provide quarterly forecasts and budget to actual analysis to finance partners.
  • Assist with preparation of memos for company positions, including (but not limited to) business combinations, variable interest entities, leasehold termination charges, revenue recognition, international accounting, debt and debt restructuring and any other new accounting pronouncements.
  • Assist the team with financial due diligence and technical accounting for mergers and acquisitions. Participate in intangible asset and contingent consideration liability valuation procedures, including annual goodwill assessment. Support the quarterly assessment over strategic investments.
  • Assist with the preparation of external auditor requests, and internal stakeholder financial information requests.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
