At Levitate, we’re on a mission to make a real impact - for our customers, our team, and the world around us. We believe the best work comes from people who are curious, driven, and excited to grow. Our five core values guide everything we do, and we look for teammates who embody the traits that make those values come to life:

Creating Magic ✨ You have the persistence and grit to turn ambitious ideas into remarkable outcomes.

Showing Customer Empathy ❤️ You bring humble confidence, listening deeply, and putting customers first.

Making Data-Driven Decisions 📊 You pair creativity with insights to make smarter, faster choices.

Focusing on Solutions, Not Problems 🔍 You approach challenges with positivity and critical thinking, always looking for the way forward.

Making Small Improvements Every Day 🌱 You embrace coachability and lean into discomfort to grow, improve, and drive lasting change.

Here, you won’t just do a job, you’ll help create meaningful experiences, solve real problems, and shape the future of our company.

Levitate is hiring a Senior Manager, Recruiting to lead and grow our talent acquisition function during a pivotal stage of the company's growth. This person will own our end-to-end recruiting operations — managing a high-performing team, driving monthly hiring targets, and partnering closely with senior leadership to staff our expanding multi-city sales office footprint.

Beyond operational excellence, this role carries a defining mandate: building Levitate's long-term outbound recruiting motion in the Raleigh market, with a particular focus on SDR pipeline. If you're a builder who loves owning strategy as much as you love hitting numbers, this role was made for you.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop a skilled recruiting team including a Team Lead, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement
  • Set clear performance expectations and hold the team to consistent standards across sourcing quality, candidate experience, and hiring velocity
  • Serve as a recruiting leader and thought partner to the broader People team and executive stakeholders

Hiring Execution

  • Own and consistently deliver against monthly hiring targets across the organization
  • Maintain a healthy and efficient recruiting funnel, identifying and resolving bottlenecks before they impact deadlines
  • Ensure a high-quality candidate experience from first touch through offer acceptance

Multi-City Sales Recruiting

  • Partner directly with sales leadership and the executive team to support Levitate's multi-city sales office expansion strategy
  • Build scalable recruiting processes for new market entries and maintain a strong bench of sales talent across geographies
  • Travel to our Toronto headquarters on a monthly basis to support recruiting efforts, build relationships with local leadership, and maintain an on-the-ground presence

Outbound Recruiting & Market Building (Primary Priority)

  • Establish and scale a sustainable outbound recruiting motion in the Raleigh market, with an initial emphasis on SDR talent acquisition
  • Build brand awareness and talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, community engagement, university partnerships, and local networking
  • Develop repeatable playbooks for outbound outreach, nurture campaigns, and event-based recruiting that can be extended to other markets over time
  • Track market dynamics, competitive compensation data, and candidate availability to keep Levitate's recruiting approach sharp and current

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience, with at least 2 years in a team leadership or management capacity
  • Proven track record of hitting and exceeding hiring targets in a high-growth SaaS or technology environment
  • Hands-on experience recruiting for sales roles — SDRs, AEs, or similar GTM functions — ideally in competitive markets
  • Strong outbound sourcing instincts; you know how to build pipeline before reqs open, not after
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — comfortable presenting to and influencing senior leaders
  • Experience managing or recruiting across multiple office locations or geographies
  • Willingness and ability to travel to Toronto monthly and as otherwise needed
  • Comfortable using AI tools to increase team throughput - whether that's drafting outreach at scale, summarizing candidate feedback, or building interview prep materials faster
  • Familiarity with modern ATS platforms and experience using data and analytics to track recruiting funnel performance, identify bottlenecks, and present insights to senior stakeholders
  • Self-starter mentality with high ownership — you don't wait to be told what to do

Nice to Have

  • Experience building a recruiting function or outbound motion from scratch in a new market
  • Prior experience recruiting in the Raleigh-Durham area and/or existing local talent networks
  • Background in SDR recruiting specifically and understanding of sales development career paths
  • Experience working at a company through a significant growth phase (Series B/C or similar)

  • Monthly travel stipend to support Toronto visits
