About the Role
The Senior Compensation Partner will shape and deliver our total rewards strategy, ensuring competitive and fair compensation practices across the business. You’ll partner with People, Talent, and business leaders to provide market insights, guide offers, lead annual review cycles, and support the design of new programs and policies. Reporting to the Head of Compensation, this role is highly cross-functional, working with Finance, Legal, and Stock Administration to drive consistency, fairness, and alignment with our company goals.
What You'll Accomplish
Collaborate with PBPs and business leaders to define compensation strategies and policies that align with business objectives. Offer consultative support on offers, promotions, and adjustments.
Lead Managers, People Business Partners, and HR Technology through the biannual compensation cycles.
Own the benchmark review process and maintain salary structures, ranges, and geographic differentials to ensure market competitiveness, internal equity, and alignment with our compensation strategy.
Serve as the liaison between the compensation and talent acquisition teams to support recruiting efforts.
Maintain job architecture, leveling, titling, and job codes; drive governance for changes to ensure consistency and discipline.
Create and enhance educational materials for employees to learn about Hinge Health's compensation programs and policies.
Administer and implement compensation programs and resources, ensuring they are efficient, compliant, and understood by the business.
Maintain compensation policies, manager guides, and candidate-facing frameworks, ensuring compliance with pay transparency and posting requirements.
Improve systems, workflows, and tools for compensation planning and analytics; advance automation and reporting for ongoing visibility.
Partner cross-functionally to align compensation programs with DEI, performance, and talent strategies.
Other ad hoc projects as required.
Hinge Health Hybrid Model
We believe that remote work and in-person work have their own advantages and disadvantages, and we want to be able to leverage the best of both worlds. Employees in hybrid roles are required to be in the office 3 days per week, for the full 8 hours of a typical business day. The San Francisco office has a dog-friendly workplace program.
Basic Qualifications
6+ years of compensation experience; 3+ years of client group ownership
Expertise in market pricing, salary structures, job architecture, and compensation governance.
Experience partnering cross functionally (e.g., Stock Administration, Legal, Finance, and Payroll)
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Strong modeling and analytics skills (advanced Excel/Google Sheets)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Workday HCM and Advanced Compensation modules
Experience managing annual compensation cycles
Experience supporting compensation across multiple countries or regions
Experience with equity compensation.
Comfortable presenting in front of large groups of people.
CCP or similar compensation certification.
Compensation
This position will have an annual salary, plus equity and benefits. Please note the annual salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. The annual salary range for this position is $148,000 - $222,000/year.
