About the Role

As the Head of Total Rewards, you will lead our Benefits and Compensation teams, playing a pivotal role in shaping and executing a strategic rewards vision that aligns with Hinge Health's business goals. You will partner closely with the Founders, Senior Leadership Team (SLT), and cross-functional partners to develop a competitive and financially responsible total rewards strategy. Your contributions will be essential in enhancing employee engagement and retention thus positioning our organization as an employer of choice.

What You’ll Accomplish

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive, data-driven total rewards strategy that aligns with business objectives and boosts employee engagement and retention.
  • Successfully influence the Founders and SLT on directional decisions for benefits and compensation.
  • Lead a high-performing Total Rewards team and establish competitive compensation and benefits programs.
  • Ensure all programs comply with local, state, federal, and international regulations, including within Canada and India.
  • Achieve a high satisfaction rate (80%) with the performance and compensation process as measured in the Voice of Hinge Health (VOHH).

Hinge Health Hybrid Model

We believe that remote work and in-person work have their own advantages and disadvantages, and we want to be able to leverage the best of both worlds. Employees in hybrid roles are required to be in the office 3 days/week. The San Francisco office has a dog-friendly workplace program.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Total Rewards, Compensation, Benefits, or comparable analytical and strategic role with a demonstrated track record of aligning strategy with business goals.
  • Proven experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Experience in financial and budgetary management preferably related to compensation and benefits programs.
  • In-depth knowledge of applicable regulatory compliance across multiple regions, including international regulations.
  • Ability to build robust models & frameworks aimed at solving problems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in designing and managing executive compensation strategies.
  • Strong influencing skills with a track record of collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly both written and verbally.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, preferably in the health or tech industry.

Compensation

This position will have an annual salary, plus equity and benefits. Please note the annual salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. The annual salary range for this position is $228,000 - $342,000.
