Position Overview: We are seeking an extremely hardworking, entrepreneurial, and detail-oriented Marketplace Manager to join our team. This entry-level role will be responsible for managing Carpe’s presence on major online marketplaces, including Amazon.com (where Carpe is one of the top deodorant brands), Walmart.com, and Target.com. The ideal candidate will be a project manager type who can meticulously follow through on a long list of actionables, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. This role offers significant growth potential, with opportunities to take on more responsibility and accountability over time. The role reports directly to Carpe’s Head of Growth Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize product listings on Amazon, Walmart, and Target online marketplaces.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, customer reviews, and competitor activity to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement promotional strategies and pricing adjustments to drive sales and visibility.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely product information, inventory levels, and fulfillment processes.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics, providing regular updates to the team.
  • Resolve any issues related to product listings, customer feedback, or marketplace policies.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to enhance our marketplace presence and drive growth.
  • Maintain a detailed task list and ensure all action items are completed promptly and accurately.

Requirements:

  • Extreme attention to detail and ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • A strong eye for good design.
  • An ability to recognize what copy, designs, etc. will sell more product.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Positive attitude, with a willingness to work hard and learn.
  • Growth-oriented mindset, with a desire for feedback and continuous improvement.
  • No prior experience required; a passion for e-commerce and personal care products is a plus.
