We're looking for a Performance Marketing Content Manager to help us reach our ambitious growth goals and join our team based in Durham, North Carolina. Reporting to the Head of Growth Marketing, we are seeking a highly skilled and creative Performance Marketing Content Manager to lead our end-to-end creative process for all of our paid social media development.

This role demands masterful storytelling and an extremely high bar for creative content. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of performance marketing strategies and the nuances of creating breakout content for social media. This role goes beyond traditional scriptwriting, requiring a strategic mindset, a passion for driving measurable results through innovative and engaging content, and a strong desire to win.

The role will require approximately 50% of your time writing scripts to drive our creative content engine, and 50% of your time managing and executing content production, including working with creators and producing in-house creatives.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Script Writing – Develop and write world-class, high-converting ad scripts for various performance marketing campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and more.
  • Content Strategy – Collaborate with the performance marketing team to create and implement content strategies aligned with campaign objectives and target customer pain points.
  • Creative Production & Development – Work closely with our video editor to ensure scripts are brought to life in a visually compelling and effective manner, and a willingness to be in front of the camera for some in-house creatives.
  • Trend Analysis – Stay up-to-date with social media trends, other DTC brands, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms to ensure our content remains relevant and impactful.
  • Performance Optimization – Continuously monitor and analyze our creative performance, making data-driven adjustments to scripts and creative approaches to improve engagement and conversion rates.
  • Creator Management – Work closely with our Head of Creator Partnerships to coordinate with content creators to ensure consistency and quality in the execution of creative concepts.
  • A/B Testing – Develop and execute A/B tests to determine the most effective messaging, formats, and creative elements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work with other marketing team members, including our graphic designer and Email/SMS Retention marketer to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts.
  • Reporting – Provide regular reports on content performance, insights, and recommendations for future campaigns.
